It however still provides access to all of googles services through it's break open menu bar in the top right

I rarely use mobile browsing to access email, instead I use their more functional apps. However they still try to provide a decent amount of info despite the lacking space.

Banking

Another webservice typically served through an app. However many smaller banks have poor, conviluted apps. So accessing one through a mobile browser isn't uncommon.
